Here are a few things that should make your stay more enjoyable!
- A book called “The Big Island Revealed” is located in the TV cabinet along with games and extra books
HOUSE RULES
- Please remove all shoes inside the house
- Please do not smoke in the house
- Please use coasters on wood
- Close and lock doors whenever you leave
CARD KEY
- In the bowl by the door you will find a card key for The Private Beach Club. Please note it is $150 to replace a lost card- this is deducted from the security deposit
LIGHTING
- Electricity on the island is expensive. To conserve energy please be sure to turn the fans and light switches completely OFF when not in use
AIR CONDITIONING UNIT
- The biggest drain on electricity is AC. Please make sure windows and doors are closed before turning on
- There are 2 AC controls: in the foyer and upstairs on the wall outside the master bedroom
KITCHEN
- Garbage pick-up is on Mondays and Thursdays.
- There is a glass, cans and plastics recycle station in back of the Managers office at the front entrance
- Cook top- To turn ON select the on/off pad and then press the up arrow once to begin to regulate temp. If cooktop is “locked” press the “Dacor” button for 3 seconds and release
BBQ
- We keep a spare propane tank in the garage. If you run out of propane you can exchange a tank at ACE Hardware in Waimea, HOME DEPOT in Koloko or The Propane Station on Honokohau St. above the Starbucks
- The Barbecue has a searing plate on the left and regular grill grates on the right
- As with any BBQ please exercise caution as there can be flare ups. Please do not leave the bbq unattended. Grease fires damage the area around the bbq and melt the starter. There is a spray water bottle in the outdoor kitchen cabinet to help control flare-ups
- Please remember to shut the valve on the tank all the way off when done grilling :)
TV/INTERNET
- Smart TV’s in the living room and bedrooms
- The WIFI is called mlv107 and the passcode is pineapple
BEACH GEAR/POOL
- Beach and pool gear is kept in the garage (man door code 4022)
- Beach towels are located in the lower cabinet in the laundry room
- Short-cut! Just after unit #207 is a paver path that leads to the pool/exercise area
CHECK-OUT
- All trash goes out to the outside bins
- Shut all windows and doors
- Shut off all lights
- Load and start dishwasher
- Turn AC OFF upstairs and downstairs
- Leave beach club access card in the bowl at the front door
